History
For more than 25 years, CMG Partners, LLC and its affiliates have been in the business of providing liquidity options for shareholders of limited partnerships, non-traded REITs, and other securities with limited or non-existent trading options. CMG was formed based on the unmet demand from owners of illiquid investments who sought an efficient means to sell their shares. Since inception, we have purchased more than $30,000,000 of such securities, and completed over 10,000 transactions.

Mark Swenson
Mr. Swenson is the President and Chief Investment Officer of CMG Partners, LLC and its affiliated companies. The various CMG entities are specialty investment companies primarily investing in real estate securities, limited partnerships, REITs and other investments. Prior to his career with CMG, Mark was employed for more than 17 years in various positions within the securities industry. During that time, Mark served as an investment broker for A.G. Edwards & Sons and Dain Bosworth, Inc. Mark also served as Vice President and Registered Principal for Puget Sound Securities, the investment division of Puget Sound Bank, a Seattle based regional bank holding company. Mark is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Economics, Class of 1983. In his spare time, Mark enjoys boating in the Pacific Northwest, travel, skiing, reading, guitar playing, and most importantly spending time with family.
Office manager
Pam Rudee
Pam has been employed by CMG since 2005, and is responsible for administrative duties, transfer and re-registration tasks and client relations. Ensuring strong customer service, Pam works hard towards accomplishing our goal of solid reliability and responsiveness to customer needs. Pam graduated from San Diego State University and owned a business with her husband for many years. In her spare time she loves to play tennis, read, travel, and play with grandkids.
Accounting
Chun Yang
Chun joined CMG in 2004, Chun is responsible for financial reporting and bookkeeping and accounting and assist internal financial auditing for CMG. Chun graduated from University of Guam with a B.S. degree in accounting. Born in Taiwan, Chun is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Chun is married and has 6 year old daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family.
ANALYST
Alex Swenson
Alex Swenson joined CMG Partners in 2014 as an Investment Associate. Alex’s expertise includes the analysis of trends and developments in the non-publically traded securities marketplace. Through ongoing financial analysis of statistical and operational trends within the REIT marketplace, Alex collaborates with our lead investment officer as well as the administrative department. Alex is a strong resource for our customers who wish to learn more about their particular REIT, and provide details concerning liquidity options. During his free time Alex enjoys Hiking, Snowboarding, mountain biking and is an avid traveler.
Emotional Support
Chief Dog
Ellie Joined CMG Partners in 2016 as Emotional Support Chief Dog though she seems to think she’s a person. She works directly with all of the employees here at CMG and is a strong resource for morale and work ethic. Her hobbies include playing fetch, sitting on people’s laps, having visitors and most of all meet and greets.
